Has your child experienced a life event that is impacting their daily functioning? Are meltdowns, tantrums, or school concerns becoming overwhelming? If you’re here, you might be feeling unsure about how to best support your child—and you’re not alone.

Whether your child is working through trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, aggressive behaviors, or school challenges, you’ve found a place of support. I believe in partnering with parents to provide a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space where concerns can be shared, and solutions can be found.

Why play therapy?

Play is a child’s first language and play adds joy to all of our lives. The playroom at Partners In Play Therapy Services is a welcoming, fun, and judgment-free space where children can naturally express themselves. Through Child-Centered Play Therapy (non-directive), your child will explore and process emotions in a way that feels safe and familiar. Depending on their unique needs, I also integrate Prescriptive or Directive Play Therapy techniques to help them learn and practice new skills. Together, we will empower your child to express emotions in a healthy, safe manner—helping them build resilience and confidence.

my journey

After more than a decade as a school social worker and mental health professional in educational settings, I transitioned into play therapy to remove barriers that often prevent children and families from accessing the care they need. While I loved being part of a school community, I saw firsthand the need for more accessible therapeutic support. Now, I continue to collaborate with parents and educators, providing guidance and advocacy when needed to support children in their school environment.

My background also includes work in crisis centers and shelters supporting individuals experiencing intimate partner violence. These experiences have shaped my holistic, strengths-based approach to working with children and families.

Partnering for Your Child’s Success

As a play therapist, I bring professional expertise, specialized training, and the personal insight of being a parent myself. Together, we will create an individualized plan tailored to your child’s strengths and your goals for their emotional well-being. You are the most important person in your child’s life, and I am here to support you both on this journey.

Let’s work together to help your child thrive.
