Licensed specialist clinical Social Worker
EMDR Therapist
Specialized in First Responders
While working as a 911 dispatcher, I had countless experiences assisting citizens facing life’s emergencies, the honor of working with first responders running towards the danger, and the unique opportunity to witness the resiliency inside everyday individuals. From these experiences, I became driven to become a therapist to offer support not only during moments of crisis, but to also facilitate the healing process in the days, months, or years that follow a crisis or trauma.
Today, my priority as a therapist is to provide the space and stillness for you to process your experiences in a non-judgmental environment, allow you to reconnect with your own voice and intuitions, and help you sharpen the tools you’re already using to continue your journey.
Trauma shows up in a variety of ways in our lives.
While all stages of life bring unique experiences, certain life circumstances and lines of work can take a distinct toll on your mental health or expose you to work-specific trauma. Whether you’re an adult or teenager needing a place to process challenging life circumstances, or a first responder, healthcare worker, teacher, parent, or other helping professional experiencing work-related challenges, I would be honored to work with you. Together, we will create and implement a therapeutic plan to process your unique experiences and provide you the confidential space to heal at your own pace.
My experience working with individuals facing some of life’s biggest storms, combined with immense gratitude and respect for those who selflessly help others, developed my passion for working with professional helpers, individuals who have experienced trauma, and anyone looking for a calm, safe place to process traumatic or challenging life experiences. From our first consultation to long after our work together has ended, my goal as your therapist is to ensure you know you are no longer expected to navigate life’s storms alone.
You are not alone.
